Patriot High School Band and Colorguard
We will have a Goodwill collection day on Sunday, October 23rd. Last year we raised more than $3,000 in this event and we are hoping to get even more this year.
This is a parent volunteer opportunity. We need parents (especially those with trucks) to help with picking up items as well as parents to pass out fliers to yard sales.
To schedule a pick up or to volunteer, contact Ginny Pendleton
Below is a list of what we can accept.
GUIDELINES FOR DONATIONS
ACCEPTABLE:
All items donated must be in good condition. “sellable as is.” We no longer repair, refinish or reupholster. Over the past 10 years, our repair workshops have been replaced with training programs. Goodwill has specific guidelines to help decrease the amount of “unsellable” items that are brought to us, since the cost of handling these items is very high and takes away from our vocational rehabilitation programs. We do not take any broken items or furniture with holes, rips or stains.
We can best use the following items that are clean, complete & in sellable condition:
Antiques & collectibles
