Patriot would like to welcome Matt Hernandez as our new Pit arranger for the 2012 season, show entitled "Catalysts"!
Matt is accomplished mallet player, performing in the front ensemble for both Blue Devils and RCC winter drumline the last couple of years. He is also a quad drummer in his home state of Texas.
We are lucky to have such a talented individual join our design team. His experience and abilities will help Patriot HS have another successful season in the PSO division in SC-PA.
The Patriot Percussion section is one of the premier drumline's in Riverside County and Southern California. They currently compete with the Regiment during the fall and in the spring they compete in the SCPA and WGI circuits. In 2010 they made open class finals both for SCPA and at the WGI West Coast Regional, securing their spot as one of the areas small but mighty drumlines.
The drumline and front ensemble are taught by some of the best and brightest young percussion instructors in the state.
If you are interested in performing with the Patriot Drumline, auditions will be taking place in December 2010 for the winter drumline group and in May 2011 for the Fall 2011 marching band. Prerequisites for the group include a 2.0 GPA as well as a good attitude and solid work ethic.
